# HOW TO EARN $ARCA

To begin your LOA journey, we highly recommend starting with the free heroes provided at the beginning of the game. There are numerous gameplay options to choose from, but [***Adventure***](https://whitepaper.legendofarcadia.io/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/pve/adventure) is the easiest way to get started. While experiencing the fascinating storyline, you'll gain vast amounts of Energy and Experience (EXP). Energy is used as fuel for White Ore [***Mining***](https://whitepaper.legendofarcadia.io/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/pve/mining), while EXP is used to level up your NFT Hero [***Stands***](https://whitepaper.legendofarcadia.io/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/stands), which are slots where heroes can be placed.

To further enhance your NFT heroes' additional attributes, you may also need to consume other heroes as materials. The more powerful a Hero NFT you upgrade, the more value it can be sold for on our NFT marketplace.
