The ecosystem of Legend of Arcadia operates on a closed-loop single-token economy model and comprises several components:

## Gameplay

Legend of Arcadia features two types of gameplay: [***PvE (Player vs. Environment)***](/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/pve.md) and [***PvP***](/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/pvp.md)[ ***(Player vs. Player)***](/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/pvp.md)*.* By immersing yourself in both modes, you'll discover two different in-game items. Generally, you can obtain [***White Ore***](/legend-of-arcadia/how-to-earn-usdarca/white-ore.md) from [***Mining***](/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/pve/mining.md), while [***Obsidian***](/legend-of-arcadia/how-to-earn-usdarca/obsidian.md) can be earned from participating in the [***Arena***](/legend-of-arcadia/gameplay/pvp/fervor-arena.md) game mode. These two items can be further forged to mint [***$ARCA tokens***](/legend-of-arcadia/tokenomics/usdarca.md).

## Marketplace

While NFT Heroes are a matter of the heart in the game, players can purchase and sell their heroes on the marketplace. If you are lucky, you may find powerful SSR heroes to strengthen your hero formation.

## VIP System and ARCA Tokens

The payback period for players is closely related to their VIP level and the amount of ARCA tokens they stake. Generally, the more $ARCA you stake and the longer you lock it up, the higher your VIP level will be, resulting in a shorter payback period.
